So sorry we are a little late posting Day 4, great start to the day in Lyon driving through town and an area called "le Confluence" (as the 2 mighty rivers Rhone and Soane merge, very much like all the building work and traffic, felt like we were on the Italian Job as we drove at 45% down a pavement at one point.

Dropped onto the motorway and made our way out towards Chambery (via a pit stop for Coffe and and Crossaint (well wer were in France, just!) Then full steam ahead to Annecy and a spot of shopping for the day. All i can say, 1 large shopping Trolley later and Im thinking where is all of this going to fit ion the cars.

Lunch by the Lake was ok, but expensive. I'm sure they have a locals menu for 20 euro's and hit travelling people with the more expensive one. Fed and watered, the fun then began as we lost Steve and Jan "which way do i turn past Lidl? We havent been past a Lidl came the response from x 2 cars!".

Regrouped and heading up a very nice twisting road, x 3 minis creating havoc up a mountain pass, little video from Mike and Helen of Arthur getting a wriggle on.

What you didnt see was Andy waving his hands a French driver about 15 minutes later, as he was driving at 15 miles an hour. So all x 3 overtook at great pace, Jan wetting herself as she was faced with cars driving up her side of the road..

Mont Blanc tunnel was fun, 12 miles of driving and a quick pitstop at the other side to use the loo. Great view of the mountains and glaciers.

Dropped down through what seemed like a never ending selection of tunnels, we arrived at 21Barras5 Guest House. To say this place is a modern day architects dream is an understatement, have more gadgets to polay with than my Audi Q7!

Anyway, ill posty some pictures of the place a bit later, but we all grouped on the decking outside Mr and Mrs Nabbs's room as it was the largest party deck, Andy had a slight altercation with a bottle of Champane that had been in the car all day.

This was followed by lot's and lot's of Wine, beer and Gin all with a picnic of Bread and cheeses. All backed up with the soundtrack of the 80's.

Jan then decided she want to show us her Tiktok dance moves, listening to Lizzo! on Spotify.

Hmmm, Strcitly Come dancing for Jan next year, great effort!

The boys looked suitably impressed, but I think Mike's shorts we a little loose and it looks like he let one of his bad boys slip out!

We are moving on to Lago Maggiore tomorrow, look forward to stomping around where i grew up!
